About Me

HEY.

Thanks for coming to learn some more about me! Here are the top 5 things you should know about me...

1. Food: I eat foods with little to no ingredients. That is something I have started to cherish. If I can read what is in the ingredients, it's for me. If I have no idea what it means, forget about it.

2. Country: I was born & raised in the country. Currently.. I'm trying to figure out this whole city thing.

3. Sweat: I run to feel the fresh air fill my lungs. I take spinning to clear my head. I pretend to take Pilates to feel two inches taller after each class.

4. Cooking: It is my escape. Chopping vegetables is an oasis for me. I have never found an activity to be so relaxing.... oh, and.. I love my Crock Pot!

5. Family: Growing up, I was scared to go to bed. My older brother was notorious for hiding under my bed and grabbing my ankles. He's the reason I check my closet (still) before I go to bed. Despite the constant fear I live in, I would be nowhere without the support he and the rest of my family provide.

Why?

Well, why NOT? I have never thought blogging would be for me. Most recently, I feel like I've been on autopilot, getting through life alone in a pretty large city (or so it feels). Why not document and keep track of the horrible or hilarious experiences I go through? Most importantly, why not keep track of my recipes or my new workouts all in one place?
